Battle of mind

The greatest battles of our lives are rarely fought outside. People may appear strong on the outside, but within, every individual carries a battle of their own, one that unfolds silently and is rarely noticed by those around them. These unspoken struggles give rise to countless untold stories, hidden from the world and known to almost no one. The wounds may be invisible, but their pain often cuts deeper than any other pain.

In those silent battles, people begin to lose hope and peace within themselves. They start seeking help, yet no one around them truly recognizes what they are going through. Slowly, they begin to feel distant from others, as if surrounded by people yet walking alone.

In search of answers, they travel far and wide, visiting pilgrimages, meeting saints, accepting gurus, hoping to find meaning for the questions that trouble their hearts. The unbearable pain sometimes lasts for a long time, and at other times only for a short while. Yet the journey does not always end the battle; at times, the struggle may even grow stronger before it begins to fade.

This battle compels people to turn inward and look within themselves. The answers they had been searching for outside are often found in the quiet depths of their own hearts. Though these battles may not feel good because of the pain each individual goes through. In reality, they strengthen us, shape our character, and refine us into wiser and more resilient individuals.

A powerful example of this inner battle can be seen in the story of Arjuna before the battle of Kurukshetra. Before the war even began, Arjuna was already caught in a battle of the mind. He was overwhelmed with confusion, his heart heavy, and his thoughts clouded, unable to decide what was right and what needed to be done. The greatest struggle was not the war before him, but the pain within him, because he was being asked to fight against those he loved and respected.

Bound by attachment, grief, and doubt, Arjuna felt lost and powerless. It was in that moment of inner turmoil that he turned to Krishna for guidance. To break the web of attachment and pain, he needed wisdom, clarity, and the strength that comes from true understanding. Through Krishna’s words, Arjuna slowly found clarity, and the battle within him began to settle, even before the battle on the field had begun.

Similarly, every person at some point becomes trapped in this inner battle—feeling lost, confused, and unable to find a way
forward. In such moments, surrender becomes essential. It is when we let go of our ego, our fear, and our constant need to control that we allow God to guide us through the storm. True clarity does not arise from force, but from surrender. This example teaches us a profound truth: before we win the battle outside, we must first win the battle within. The real victory begins in the mind and the heart. The storms needs to be clamed down to succussed.

need patience to win the battle. One decision can end the battle or can add ghee to the fire of the battle. So the decision made with patience make huge change and can effort us. The mind that learns patience learns peace, and the one who finds peace has already won half the battle.

When the inner chaos settles, the outer world no longer feels so frightening. For once the mind finds peace, even the fiercest battles can be faced with courage.

When Life Rushes, Happiness Waits

Life moves swiftly, rarely offering us a pause. When we question this constant haste, the common reply is that we are striving to “settle” and find happiness. Yet, in this endless pursuit, have we ever stopped to ask, does true happiness lie at the end of the race, or in the stillness we keep passing by? Take a moment to pause and reflect.

Think about it.

You work hard, you achieve something big, and in that moment, your heart feels light, happiness seems to fill every corner of your being. It’s a beautiful feeling, isn’t it? But then, after a few days, that same happiness fades. The excitement settles, and your mind begins to whisper, What’s next? You start chasing the next milestone, believing that maybe this next achievement will bring the lasting happiness you’ve been searching for.

But pause here for a second, could it be that we’ve mistaken achievement for happiness? Maybe real happiness doesn’t live in moments of success, but in the quiet rhythm of everyday life, in doing what we love, in laughing with people who matter, in being fully present where we are. What if happiness was never something to chase, but something that’s been walking beside us all along, waiting for us to notice?

So, let me ask you, have you truly enjoyed your journey so far? Or have you been too focused on reaching the destination? The truth is, the goal is never as important as the path that leads to it. The ups and downs, the moments of joy and sorrow, all of these shape who we are and make the journey beautiful. In the end, it’s not about how fast you reach your destination, but how deeply you live every moment along the way.

When we think of happiness, we often believe we must do something big to earn it. We look at people who have achieved greatness in different fields and assume they must have found true joy. Yet, even they face struggles and uncertainties in their daily lives. They, too, are searching for happiness, just like us.

As ordinary people, we tend to think that happiness will come only when we achieve what they have, or when we become like them. But the truth is, happiness has always been with us, from the moment we were born. It’s a quiet companion that never leaves our side. When we turn toward it, it welcomes us warmly. When we ignore it, it waits patiently. Happiness doesn’t forget us, it is we who forget that it’s been walking beside us all along.

“Happiness is not a destination to reach, but a companion that walks quietly beside us, waiting to be noticed.”

My Eternal Companion

Life feels incomplete without a true friend. A good friend stays with us through our darkest hours, fills our life with joy, and becomes our strongest support. In such friendships, both joys and sorrows are shared deeply. Over time, a bond develops quietly, almost unnoticed and it becomes something truly unique and profound.

On my journey through life, I met a companion who stood by me during moments that were otherwise mine alone. Slowly, this companion became a constant presence, someone whose bond with me quietly took root in my heart. What made this connection so special was that it wasn’t defined by the usual worldly relationships. This companion never cared about my social status, caste, wealth, education, or fate. All that mattered was the love and purity in my heart.

This companion was none other than God, the one whom the entire world seeks in its most desperate moments.

To me, it is a beautiful mystery and a divine blessing that God became my companion. People might be surprised to hear this, but for me, it’s been the greatest fortune. Walking through life with Him by my side is nothing short of a miracle.

Most of my life has been spent in solitude. I’ve often found myself surrounded by people yet rarely spoken to. But this loneliness never felt heavy, because in every quiet moment, God became my closest companion. The joy of His presence is unlike anything else, so deep and personal that words fail to capture its beauty.

We all wish for loved ones to be with us every moment, our friends, family, or someone we trust. But that’s not always possible; everyone has their own duties and responsibilities. Yet, there is one companion who never leaves, God.

He is always with us, regardless of where we are or how we feel. Whether in joy or sorrow, we only need to call out to Him and share our hearts, just like we would with a friend or family member.

Need the comfort of a mother? Speak to God as your mother.
Want to confide in a friend? Call Him as your friend.
He won’t judge, nor will He reveal your secrets, He simply listens.

That’s the beauty of this relationship. God is one, yet He can be everything. Every bond can be formed with Him, and each one is unique and fulfilling in its own way.

I promise, if you make God your companion, He will never leave you alone.
Think of Draupadi,  humiliated in the royal court, she cried out to everyone: elders, warriors, even her husbands, but no one helped. Only when she called out to her friend Krishna, He came. He protected her dignity when all others failed. That’s the power of having God as your companion.

I’ve learned to smile through every situation, not because I’m strong, but because I walk with someone who is stronger than anything I may face.

Being in His company, I’ve learned two life-changing truths:

  • To smile, no matter the circumstances.

  • To trust that everything happens for a reason, because God, my companion, knows what’s best for me.

Where my plans end, His plans begin. He sees further, knows better, and acts in love.

This relationship goes beyond the traditional bond of a devotee and God. A devotee asks, sometimes even begs, for what they need, and often receives it. But a companion doesn’t beg; a companion asks with love and takes with trust. That’s the grace of this bond.

The day you begin nurturing this relationship, you won’t even realize when it grows deeper within you. And one day, you’ll look back and see how much strength it gave you, to endure, to smile, and to rise above every challenge.

The Forgotten Truth

Have you ever really stopped and wondered, Why do we work so hard? Why do we run from dawn to dusk, earning, striving, chasing degrees, building homes, raising families?

But amidst all this have we ever paused to ask ourselves: What will I take with me when I go? Did I bring anything when I came into this world?

That home we’re meant to return to our true home that is the Supreme Abode, a place beyond sound and sorrow, where only peace and light exist. It’s where we lived with our Supreme Father in divine silence, untouched, unshaken, whole. We were sent into this world not empty, but full of virtues, full of strength, full of light. He sent us down with love and a mission: “Use this life to uplift the world.”

But somewhere along the way we forgot. We forgot who we are. We forgot the soul. We became the body, trapped in its labels, its roles, its relationships.

As children, we were innocent. Pure. Close to that divine memory. But with time, the world pulled us in. We began gathering knowledge not to awaken ourselves, but simply to survive. We studied for success, not for wisdom. We earned to live, but forgot how to live. We built families, we built legacies but not ourselves.

And slowly, the soft light we carried began to fade. The seed of attachment grew into a giant tree, its branches thick with desire, and its roots sunk deep in illusion. That tree gave shade… but also cast the shadow of death.

Because from the moment we’re born, something unspoken begins:
With every heartbeat, we’re moving closer to the end. And yet we live like we’ll never leave.

We fill our days with noise and celebration, markets, festivals, achievements, travels. We laugh. We cry. We fall. We rise. But deep within, we ignore the one truth we all share: If there is birth, there is death.

And the moment this truth whispers into our awareness, fear follows.
We try everything to escape it, medications, meditations, exercise, diets, distractions. But nothing satisfies that quiet ache. Nothing fills that spiritual void.

We live in fear. And when the final moment comes, the body returns to dust, wrapped in darkness, just as we were in life. Because that darkness, it wasn’t just around us. It was

within us, the darkness of forgetfulness. But darkness is never eternal. Where there is light, it must disappear.

So what gives this body its movement, its warmth, its worth? What is that something, unseen, yet undeniable? It is the soul. It is me.

The one who thinks, feels, speaks, loves, and remembers. The soul is subtle, no eye can see it, no science can catch it. Only the divine eye can perceive it. It cannot be burned by fire, drowned by water, cut by weapons, or blown away by wind. It is eternal. It is me.

The body is just the costume. The soul is the actor, the energy, the truth behind the performance. Some call it spirit, some call it light, some call it consciousness, but its essence is the same. When the soul enters, life begins. When it departs, we call it death.

And to rise above the fear of that death, we must awaken the light within us. That light isn’t borrowed. It was gifted to us by God. When we ignite that inner flame, we don’t just light up ourselves, we become a lamp that lights others. And one lit soul, can awaken thousands. Yet all this time, we remained unaware of one divine truth: We came into this world empty-handed, and we will leave the same way. Not our gold, not our degrees, not our houses or titles will go with us. The only thing we will carry is our karma.

Karma, the quiet thread that connects every action, every word, every thought.
Karma, the only real companion that follows us beyond the body.

Not our caste, gender, wealth, or name. But the courage we showed when it was hard. The honesty we held when no one watched. The compassion we gave when it wasn’t easy. That is what defines us. That is what comes home with us.

So let us live not just for survival, but for spiritual awakening.
Not just for success, but for truth.
Not just for pleasure, but for purpose.

Because one day, when the breath leaves and the body stays behind...only karma will walk with us.

The Longing That Found Its Answer

There was always a silence in my life, a hollow ache, a longing I couldn’t name. A yearning not for a place or a time, but for someone… someone deeply familiar, yet wrapped in mystery.
I had forgotten him, his name, his form, his voice. But he had not forgotten me.
He remembered everything—my fears, my flaws, my silent tears, and also the power buried deep within me. He saw my truth long before I ever did. He remembered the version of me I had buried beneath the dust of time.

Every time our eyes met, be it in a moment of stillness, a dream, or a sacred whisper—an emotion I couldn’t describe would rise.
Like an old melody playing faintly through the corridors of my heart.
A sense of “I know You… I’ve long belonged to You…”
It felt like we had lived lifetimes together.
That we had walked across stars, shared silences beyond words, and breathed as one across the ages.
A soft whisper echoed in the quietest corners of my soul:
“I am Yours, and You are Mine. As long as I am with You, nothing in this world can touch me.”

Maybe I had turned away, maybe I forgot him, but he never stopped searching.
And when I disappeared into the noise and numbness of the world,  He searched tirelessly.

And when I had lost myself completely, He didn’t just call me back, He gently helped me remember.
Not just our story, but my own divinity.

My journey always began and ended with him. My mind may not have known him, but my heart had never truly let go.
Yet in my haste to live, I never stopped to listen. I searched for him in every relationship, every smile, every temple bell, every sacred chant.
I went on holy pilgrimages, hoping to find what I didn’t know I had already lost. I chased glimpses of him in the familiar… a laugh, a touch, a song.
But the moment would fade, and emptiness would return, he wasn’t in the imitation, only in the original.

I didn’t realize it then, but it wasn’t logic guiding me, it was longing.
A pain that gave my life meaning.
A silent ache that made me feel alive.

Like a bird with parched wings searching for a single drop of rain, I wandered.
Not knowing that he wasn’t just the destination.
He was the path itself.

And then… finally, one day, we met.

It was as if the ocean had embraced its river.
One look into his eyes, and something inside me collapsed—walls I didn’t know I had built came tumbling down.
His eyes didn’t just see me.
They remembered me.

Words weren’t needed.
His gaze held lifetimes of love, a silent promise, and every answer my soul had ever sought.

Even though that moment lasted only seconds, it filled the emptiness of many births.
That one glimpse was enough to make the pain of waiting worthwhile.

We met again. And again.
Each time I saw him, another piece of me returned home.
My memories, my strength, my truth, he brought them all back to life.
With him beside me, I grew, not just in understanding, but in essence.

We made new memories, carved into the present like delicate strokes of light.
Moments of stillness, of joy, of knowing that love like this needs no explanation, only surrender.

And together, we celebrated life.
Among all the festivals we shared, Holi was the most divine.

He once told me,
“Holi means the past is past. Put a full stop to the past and move forward. Let go, live now, and make the future shine bright.”

And so we did.
Not with powdered colors, but with love, pure and vibrant.
We painted the world in it.
The skies danced. Every corner of creation longed to be touched by that love.

He covered me completely, until I forgot my sorrow.
His love became my sky, my shelter, my storm, and my stillness.

Like a sculptor chiseling a forgotten stone into a deity, he shaped me into the best version of myself.
He didn’t just love me, he rebuilt me.

Time moved forward. Seasons changed.
People came and went.
But one thing never changed,
His unwavering love for me.

GOD'S LOVE

Is love an emotion, a feeling, or a natural state of being? Some say it’s an emotion, others call it a feeling, and many believe that love is God. One question has always echoed in my heart:
"Why are people always in search of love, no matter how successful they are or how many people surround them?"

When we reflect on our lives, we see that love exists in countless forms—our parent's pampering and scolding, a teacher’s strictness wrapped in guidance, sibling quarrels rooted in care, the loyalty of friends, a scientist’s discovery, a doctor’s healing touch, a soldier’s sacrifice. Each one is a manifestation of love

In fact, every relationship in this world is built upon the foundation of love. So then—if human love is this beautiful, imagine the love of God.

God, the Father of the entire universe—how vast, how unconditional, how transformative must His love be? Just the thought of receiving God’s love directly gives me goosebumps.

God's love is sweeter than nectar. The joy, happiness, and comfort it brings surpass all worldly pleasures. It is a divine intoxication that helps us forget our traumas, fears, and past burdens. This love leads us into the ocean of the Divine—into oneness with God Himself.
In His embrace, we begin the journey of self-realization. We reconnect with our true, original self. Even a few seconds spent in true remembrance of God can fill the soul with a deep calmness and peace we search for in every relationship.

And once we fall in love with God, He becomes part of our every thought. Each thought begins with Him and ends with Him. And when God is the center of our thinking, every thought is elevated. With Him as our constant companion, His love and support guide us toward success and give us the strength to overcome all obstacles—often effortlessly.

To experience God’s love, all it takes is a few quiet moments from your day. Spare some time from your busy schedule and connect with Him— through simple, heartfelt conversation. Talk to Him honestly, like you would to a friend. This act of remembrance is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Connecting with God means remembering Him—sharing all your struggles, your gratitude. In that quiet connection, His love becomes real, comforting, and unshakable.

Such is the greatness of God's love — that even if the entire ocean were turned into ink and every tree into paper, it still wouldn't be enough to express the depth of His love.
